Ren-WA Energy Pty Ltd (“Ren-WA Energy”) supplies individual lithium cells, battery management systems (BMS), and balancers as standalone components. These products are intended for use by individuals with the appropriate technical knowledge and experience in lithium battery assembly and safe handling.

By purchasing these products, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Intended Use

Products are sold strictly as individual components.

Ren-WA Energy does not supply complete battery packs or ready-to-use consumer products.

These components are intended for DIY, hobby, research, and professional use only.

2. Safety & Assembly

Lithium cells, BMS units, and balancers must be installed, connected, and used only by persons familiar with safe handling of high-energy battery systems.

Improper assembly or misuse may result in fire, explosion, serious injury, or property damage.

The purchaser is solely responsible for ensuring correct assembly, wiring, balancing, and protective measures.

3. Compliance

Ren-WA Energy ensures that supplied products are compliant with applicable transport and safety standards(including UN38.3 testing for lithium cells, where provided by the manufacturer).

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure final assembled systems meet all applicable Australian Standards and regulations.

4. Warranty & Liability

Ren-WA Energy provides warranty only for manufacturing defects in individual components, not for outcomes arising from their assembly or combined use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ren-WA Energy is not liable for:

Damage caused by improper use or installation

Loss or injury resulting from assembly or operation of completed battery systems

Any indirect or consequential loss

5. Handling & Storage

All lithium products must be stored in a cool, dry, and fire-safe environment.

Products must be shipped, handled, and transported in accordance with IATA/IMDG Dangerous Goods regulations.

6. Acknowledgement

By purchasing from Ren-WA Energy, you confirm that you:

Understand the risks associated with lithium battery components

Have the necessary skills and equipment to safely assemble and use them

Accept full responsibility for their safe application.
